The rules of Numberwang

Contestants are expected to know the rules. They are never explained during play. For the avoidance of doubt, here they are.

• n is your number, t is the turn ordinal, s is tonight's studio seed, and ι is the inflection: flat, rising, falling or emphatic. "one?" and "ONE!" are not the same call and are not scored the same way.
• You say your numbers out loud. Contestants speak. They do not type. The board takes the inflection off your voice.
• Round Two is Imaginary Numbers: say a number that does not exist. Twentington. Shinty-six. Frilve hundred and neeb.
• The Maths Board: numbers are displayed and you say one of them. The number you are recorded as saying is never the one on the board. This is normal and has always happened.
• Let's rotate the board. The rostrum revolves. Whatever is behind it has nothing to do with Numberwang and the revolution does not stop for it. Nothing about the game changes.
• Wangernumb is the final round. The digits of n are read backwards. The first Wangernumb wins the game.
• Press ƒ in a match to watch the board evaluate every term. It will not help.
